Picture quality
The entry Samsung Crystal 4K LED delivers reliable streaming at budget prices. The VA panel’s 3,000:1 native contrast holds up in dark-room viewing for SDR content. HDR10-only support means there is no Dolby Vision or HDR10+ metadata. In my test on the same Netflix content, the Samsung Crystal HDR10 output looked nearly identical to SDR: the 300-nit panel does not have the headroom to produce meaningful HDR brightness.
In my direct comparison with the Hisense E6 Cinema Series at the same price, the Samsung Crystal was behind on colour volume, HDR format support, and IMAX Enhanced certification.
